Focus Areas
Her primary areas of work include self and relationship concerns, such as self-worth, self-confidence, managing self-blame, and addressing patterns like perfectionism and procrastination. She supports clients in navigating complex emotions like guilt and shame, building healthier relationships with their emotions, and developing assertiveness, boundaries, safety, and trust. Diagnostically, her experience spans Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, Adult ADHD and CPTSD. Her background in dance and movement therapy, combined with her understanding of trauma, emphasizes mind-body integration throughout the healing process.
Philosophy
Richa believes that symptoms, thought patterns, and emotional challenges are deeply connected to our relationship with ourselves and our environment. Therapy isn’t about labelling or pathologizing but about gaining clarity and perspective. Growth requires self-compassion and reconnecting with our authentic selves- especially in a society that often alienates us from who we truly are is essential. Effective therapy helps clients find their voice and reconnect with their bodies, reclaim their sense of self
